The Commission conducts the Grade-VIII Annual Examination throughout Balochistan in two zones — the Summer Zone and the Winter Zone — aligned with the academic calendars of the respective districts.

Examination Cycle

Annual examinations are conducted every year in February and results are announced by the end of March. In the most recent Winter Zone examination, 56,834 candidates appeared and 96% were declared successful. Affiliated schools span all districts of Balochistan including Quetta, Khuzdar, Sibi, Zhob, Gwadar, Kalat, Loralai and Makran.

• Registration: Schools register candidates through their District Education Officers on the prescribed registration form (available in Downloads).
• Scheme of Studies & Syllabi: Examinations follow the notified scheme of studies; syllabi and model papers are published in the document repository.
• Date Sheets: Date sheets are notified before each examination session.
• Results: Results are announced zone-wise and can be searched online on the document repository; official gazettes are also published.
